Join the ride!!!

This is a moderate family oriented bicycle ride routed through Mountain View, Los Altos, Sunnyvale and Los Altos Hills.  There will be many stops along the way sponsored by community partners and participants can ride the whole route of 25 +/- miles or just a segment or two for a mile or less.

Update: T-shirts for all participants who register 4/26/10 or after will be available on a first come, first served basis.  Meaning a shirt in your preferred size may not be available.

 

You will be able to sign the required waiver and pickup your T-shirt(s) at the El Camino YMCA (2400 Grant Road, Mountain View CA 94040).  NOTE: Each participant 18+ must personally sign the waiver.  For participants ages 17 and under, the waiver must be signed by a legal parent / guardian.

  • In Advance: Between Wednesday, April 28th and Saturday, May 1st from 7am-7pm OR
  • Day of Ride: Sunday May 2nd from 8am-10am.

The FINAL version of the route along with a revised set of Directions & Stations has been updated to the 'route' section of the website.  Please download this information to have the most up to date info.  The route will be very well marked, but it's a good idea to familiarize yourself with the route.

UPDATE: 4/28/10

The waiver is now available online (click here).  ALL participants 18+ MUST have a waiver signed, children 17 and under can have a parent sign on their behalf.  Simple print out the form, collect the signatures needed and bring the completed forms to the YMCA (7am-7pm) this week to get your event t-shirts and passports.

UPDATES Posted 4/26/10:

1) You may pick up your event t-shirt at the YMCA (2400 Grant Road, Mountain View 94040) beginning Wednesday, April 28th through anytime leading up to the event.  In order to pickup the shirts, you must have a completed waiver for each participant.  Parents/Guardians can sign on behalf of their children 17 and under, however each participant 18+ must sign for themselves.  The waiver will be available on the website shortly. Copies will also be available at the YMCA.

2) The route will be very well marked, however please familiarize yourself with the route and directions.  The most up to date version can be found on the website, www.challengebicycleride.org.

3) Remember to ALWAYS BE SAFE and follow the rule of the road.

4) We are scheduled for 70 degrees and clear skies, will be a great day to show your support for the children in our community!
